Hello. I want to ask if there is any option to have a running activity in the background and see the normal watch face? In my opinion, it is ridiculous if there is no such option.

One solution :
you can also use the back button, if it is not set as lap button. Or you set a datafield as time of day.
Yes, as bluefish wrote, the simplest way is disabling the lap button that is rarely needed. It used to be off by default, but was changed lately, and now it comes on, at most newly added activity profiles. Disabling the Lap button, and enabling temperature logging is always the first thing I do after adding any new activity profile. Using the Back button for switching between the main watch (and glances/widgets) and the activity screens, is then easy and comfortable. I prefer keeping the few of available key shortcuts for other useful functions. The only caveat is that the lap button is on automatically and cannot be disabled when you use a structured workout. So if you use Workouts often, you'll need to set up a Hot Key anyway.
