If you remove/change the heart rate data field from the watch face (default watch face), it is gone and you cannot get it back unless you reset the watch. Anyone else find this?

No. Just tested it - removed the HR, and then was able to add it back without any problems.
Are you running 9.25 update?
I just tried it again. I moved to the 2nd field where the Heart Rate data field is displayed by default and it blinks.. If I hit the down button, it changes to Body Battery. If I hit the UP button to go back to heart rate, it is GONE. The UP button goes back to Zulu Time and heart rate is no longer a data field you can select.
Scroll through all options
I did. It is not an available data field anymore in the default position. I can send you a video if you like. And it is not an available data field on any of the data fields that you can change on the watch face. If I move to any data field and try to find heart rate, it is not there.
I will sign up for the beta and install 10.15 and report back. But if you want a video, let me know your email address and I'll send it.

I do not really care, and I guess that Garmin neither, since it clearly works with the latest firmware version.
Another pic to show that the HR Data Field is available in multiple locations on a stock watch face:

Hi Trux,
I have updated to Beta 10.15 and now the Heart Rate Data is available to display in any data field on the WatchFace! Thank you very much for all your help!! Looks like Garmin fixed it!
Thanks gaijin! On my Instinct 3 Tactical and on the default face, the heart rate was only showing in the second position. And if I changed that data to Field to a different data field, and then tried to go back to it, the heart rate data field was not available as a selection. It was gone.
When I updated to Beta 10.15, as Trux suggested, that Garmin had fixed the issue. I did this yesterday and now the heart rate data Field is available everywhere as it should have been. Maybe I just had a rogue version of the watch or software. I just got the watch on Thursday.
