Garmin, that would be awesome if you could add a data field screen with 6 or 7 data.  Maximum on instinct 3 is 5 data, but the screen of 50mm is large enough to get a 6 or 7 data screen, maybe without labels and just icons to save room .... 

I know we can have several data fields page, but need to click ... unless the pages could sequentially change , that could be another solution :)

    I don't think they will, as this is reserved for more expensive watches such as the Fēnix line. But there is a way to automatically change pages during an activity: it's called auto scroll and you can enable it in the activity settings.

    ha i never took attention to this setting, thanks. Yes, it a kinda workaround :)

    But 6 or 7 data would be really conveninent. I hope it is not a matter of more or less expensive watches, i can understand additional features, but the number of data fields on activity ... That would ve very petty

    Instinct 3 AMOLED does have a 6-fields data screen layout. The Solar models don't.

    Isn't the Auto-Scroll option (in every activity menu) what you mean?

    Another option is using a Connect IQ app able to toggle several values on the same field. I do use this technique in some of my apps, and I know other developers employ it too.

    yes i can try to use an IQ app, usally I don't to avoid finding one that drains too much battery, is why i like when is it stock.

    I just tried the autoscroll, can work, tho i'm very surprise how the "low" scroll frequency is quite very fast .....

    Garmin, please juste a 6 or 7 data screen :)

    Data Fields CIQ apps rarely make any difference in battery consumption. It is mainly a problem at watchfaces, and other complex apps, but simple CIQ apps of the type Data Field are quite limited in resources and in access to diverse functionality, hence have mostly little to no impact on the battery life.

    Try asking Garmin: Share Ideas | Garmin, though I am afraid it is unlikely to happen on the Solar models. And AMOLED models already do have a 6 fields data screen.
