problem with 9.20

hi,

I have a problem to update my instinct 3 solar to 9.20. After the update my watch tell me that i have update to the 8.09 but i have installed the 9.20!

In the system setting the version on my watch 0.00.

    Looks like the update failed. Make more free room on the storage and try updating again.

    You can clean up the following folders, to make the needed room for the firmware update:

    • //GARMIN/Activity/ - all files
    • //GARMIN/RemoteSW/ - all files
    • //GARMIN/Debug/ - all files
    • //GARMIN/Courses/ - remove unneeded courses
    • //GARMIN/Workouts/ - remove unneeded workouts
    • //GARMIN/Text/ (if exists) remove all unneeded languages
    • //GARMIN/gmap*.img

    You could also remove some unneeded Connect IQ apps, if there are any

    Hello @trux and thanks for your response. unfortunatly they are no changes after giving more storage for the update. I have already 58mB of storage before the update. I have try many things, like factory reset…

    Try using the option "Reinstall Software" from the Developer menu (press 8 times the Light button while on the screen Settings » System » About). If it does not help, call the Support.

    I don’t see that option in developer menus. But i have « bump global version » that this option?

    I do not know, I do not have such option. Either try it, or call the Support and ask them for assistance.

    Hello. I am sorry to hear the System software is not showing. You can try these steps to resolve this: 

    1. Ensure the watch is powered off.
      • You may need to hold CONTROLfor up to 30 seconds to turn the watch off.
    2. Press and hold SET and GPS.
    3. Press CONTROL to power the watch on while holding these two buttons.
    4. After the first beep release GPS.
    5. After the second beep release the remaining button.

    Then try connecting with Garmin Express to check for updates again. You may need to remove the device from Express, then readd this. We are at 50% roll out of SW version 9.21. 

    If you are still not showing the software version, I would recommend contacting Garmin Product Support.
