I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with my Garmin Instinct 3 Solar that seems to have started after the latest update. The update was useful and fixed other issues, but this new problem has now emerged.
Even though all audio prompt settings are disabled in Garmin Connect, workout audio cues still play while navigating a course. At the same time, the device seems to be crash-restarting. The crash happens specifically when viewing the map page of an activity as an audio prompt finishes playing.
I’ve tested this in both cycling and running activities, and the issue is consistent. When a workout is active and the device gives a voice prompt for an upcoming turn, it crashes, displays the Garmin logo, and then resumes in a paused state, requiring manual resumption.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions on how to fix it?
