Screen protector and solar charging

Does anyone know if solar charging is affected by a screen protector? I remember a discussion about this with the Instinct 2, but opinions differed.

Thank you, but do you think it's 100% the same solar charge? Or is there a small difference?

Yes. Using a screen protector can inhibit solar charging. This is because it can reduce the intensity of light detected by the the watch.

Screen protectors are also not recommended by Garmin, as they can damage the display surface.
