I recently purchased the Instinct 3 AMOLED 50mm and it appears that the heart rate information, when sent over bluetooth does not work. It will connect, but always show 0 BPM. The heart rate correctly shows on the watch face.
When connecting with the Instinct 3 (over Bluetooth) the watch makes the connection as you would expect but the receiving end (Zwift or heart buddy via iOS) shows 0 beats per minute. The exact same setup works flawlessly with my Instinct 2x. I have tried broadcasting via the explicit broadcast and with in an activity with the same result of connecting but 0 beats per minute. I have also confirmed that broadcasting over ANT+ works fine (to a different device), so this appears to be a problem only with broadcasting over Bluetooth.
I am running 6.29 and have tried a factory reset (even though i have only had the watch a couple days) tested against different iOS devices, updated Zwift and heart buddy (any other receiving apps to check ?) and am fairly confident that it is an issue with watch or software of the watch.
I am hopeful that Garmin see's this...anyone else have this issue ?
