Watch restarts when viewing a glance - Solar 45MM

Anyone else experiencing this problem on the Instinct 3 Solar 45mm?

Each time I select glance, whether it be weather or temperature, the watch will restart at random.

I have also this problem with my Instinct 3 Solar 45 mm. It does not always restart, but too often. I am returning my watch. This is not ok.

I wanted to return mine as well, but hopefully Garmin will release an update to fix this ASAP.

Same problem on Instinct 3 Tactical with 9.20. Tried to check weather -- reboot.

I can't reproduce it either, but I wouldn't report in other case.

Still happening with version 9.20. I just bought the Solar Tactical a few days ago and it has already restarted twice while going into the solar intensity glance. I'll keep it for a few days to see if this is resolved; if not, I'll be returning it. If you're selling tactical equipment, it better be reliable...

Hi, I am also having this issue as of v9.20. The watch will reboot ~1-2 times per day when trying to access (in my case) the Sleep, HRV, or Pulse Ox glances (and possibly more). The issue seems to occur for me most often after sleeping.

10.06.2025 - problem still happening (Instinct Solar 3, 45mm).

2 out of 3 times I select a Glance, whole watch restarts.

Doesn't matter which Glance.

Garmin Team - seriously?

It seems that it's happening more frequently when phone is far away from the watch. Maybe it has something to do with connection? Maybe the watch has barely a connection when entering the menu, but loses it, and then when you select a glance, it just reboots because it doesn't have a connection to the phone, and the software don't know what to do?

K vůli tohoto problému jsem hodinky vrátil, aby alespoň chvíli fungovali musel jsem provádět co 3 dny tovární nastavení to ovšem zase smaže platební kartu, takže ty funkce jsou vlastně k ničemu. Za ty prachy no nekup to ...

I can confirm that observation! If the phone is behind the wall or 10 meters away it happens way more frequently. Though it could still happen if phone is just a meter away anyway.
