45 AMOLED No Weather Data / Bugg

the weather widget has been extremely intermittent, and most of the time showing no weather, no weather data. Here is the current set up I have:

Phone: Google Pixel 8

Connect App Permission = Location Always On

Connected App Shows Connected

I have manually refreshed the synch from the app to the device multiple times

I have paired / repaired the instinct 3 to the connect app multiple times

I have performed multiple device power cycles (both phone and watch at same time)

I have ensured all devices have their software up to date

I have uninstalled / reinstalled the connect app multiple times

What else am I missing here?

    Are you talking about the location permission for the app? I have that set to always on....I don't see any option specifically for enabling weather data on the connect app..

    maybe give it some gps coords to get location for weather. just by getting gps lock within activity

    You can try the following:

    • Step out of the house, go to the weather glance, open the widget, press the GPS button and then press it again to confirm the option "Update Current Location". Then sync with Garmin Connect, and see whether it helped. If not, wait 20 minutes, and then check again.

    • If the previous operation does not help, there may be a problem with the weather data provider for your location. To verify it, in Garmin Connect, change the Settings » User Settings » Weather Location to Use Fixed Location and select a remote location, preferably near a bigger airport. It can be even on another continent, it is just to test whether the weather data can sync from some well known data source.

    • Another possible reason could be a network problem while connecting to the weather data server. Try an alternative Internet connection on the phone - a different Wi-Fi access point, or using mobile data instead of the Wi-Fi (or vice versa), ...

    I appreciate the tips! I tried the update current location via gps, which it registered the coordinates, but I didn't see the weather app update...I then tried your second suggestion, switching phone location to fixed location and picked the city airport...that seems to have worked so far.... It is just bizarre, all the other apps and widgets are synching correctly and in real time to the connect app except for the weather synch...hopefully this fixed location solves it or a future software update

    Hi there,

    all is good with weather on my Instinct 3 amoled 45 mm - weather updating, it is shown on watchface, I have all data when enter glance widget. But when I push left down button and open glance first view of weather is empty. There should be min and max temperature I guess. Have you the same or my Instinct is crazy?
