I was playing with some Garmin CIQ apps and found getting maps wasn't too tricky. I've posted some images below where I followed a route using Google Maps and Open Cycle Maps. There are a few other map styles, and following the path shown on the map is straightforward as the app pops up TBT instructions. They will also work but won't look as good at lower resolutions.
