The “eye” icons are not centered, please see pictures.



Compass- The original Instinct came out in 2018, it’s time to upgrade this compass and save bearings like the Fenix lineup…it’s 2025 Garmin!

    The off-center icons are a misaligned mounting of the screen. A manufacturing issue. Most watches have an off-center screen. Although there are people who have opened 5 watches in a store and found a good one. I personally have had 2 and both were bad, but one was better than the other, the worst one had the edge of the right screen visible to the eye.

    Well, I’m not saying this isn’t a possibility, I’ve also opened up these watches (just opened up an Fenix 8 the other day) and looked inside. The way the case is designed there really is no movement or ability for this to be misaligned. And people opening up in the store would require them to go through turn on the unit get through the basic opening settings, and then scroll through the glance, widgets. I’m surprised stores would allow them to do that. 

    Why I think it’s a simpler process to fix, because not all icons are misaligned.

    It's a screen mounting issue. DC Rainmaker even responded to me with screenshots of his Instinct 3 with the same firmware with the same widgets and on his watch they were perfectly aligned.

    I just got the 50mm solar yesterday at REI.  I opened it up in the store and did minimal setup.  I didn't see the problem, well in the store that is.  But now I have my doubts.  Do you folks think the solar icon is misaligned on the circular screen below?  If it is off, I think it's minor.  Not sure I'd return it for that small difference.  I only notice the issue when on the solar icon, no other icons.  Not sure if a future FW could/would fix this?
