The graphic on my solar 3 unit is slightly off center (half millimeter?), mainly noticeable with rounder graphic such as compass or solar intensity. it's a bit painful when you notice it.
Hard to see on a picture, If you look at the circle slightly from the side, you can even see the edge of the MIP screen.
What's going on Garmin ?
So it’s not a software issue but that of a misaligned module?
I was able to get a new one, it's way better. This time, the image might lean more towards the other side, but I'm not even sure, round graphics appear very well this time.
I got my Instinct 3 50mm solar today, and noticed that if I look at the circle straight on, it is perfectly centered, but at a slight angle in any direction, it looks a little off center.
Then, I noticed…
I returned my 45mm with off-center display. We opened 5 45mm at the watch store and they all had a bad display. I took the sixth one with good display. The seller thanked me that he didn't know about such a problem and was sending the watches back to Garmin. Some displays were better and some were worse.

I just got the 50mm solar yellow/gray version at REI today. I set it up in the store before I left, just in case I had to switch it for another one. It looked fine to me. But I'm going back and forth now that it looks 'fine' or has a small misalignment. See the top left portion of the solar icon. The white space looks a bit larger than the other side. What do you guys think?
