Hi everyone,
A little help required- Garmin Instinct 2 Solar. Software: 16.11
I've become aware that my heart rate zones could be slightly off when I try to stay in my Zone 2 heart rate zone on a run (I'm either sitting in Z1 or Z4-5 on a very slow and easy run). After researching how to fix this, forums recommend doing a lactate threshold test to get more accurate readings. That seems to have been removed as an option on my watch, as it's now integrated when you record activities.
Ive found my Running Lactate Threshold readings from my menu options but it is currently stating that I will reach my current lactate threshold at 30bpm which is just wildily off.....
Questions:
1. What is the best way to get a more accurate reading (potentially without having to purchase a separate heart rate monitor)
2. Is there something in my data settings that could be causing this that I could change?
