Altimeter issue

I have a question about altimeter.

if i put my instinct 2x on the table for a couple of hours altimeter will drift from my home altitude 150 m to 220 m and barometer will still be the same.

I had many Garmins fenix 3,5,7x .instinct 2x ,enduro and more but none of them behaved like this. They were always spot on 150m or + - 1 m

Barometer is set on auto mode, if i change to barometer only mode then it is ok. but the watch should know that there is no movement and only change baroemeter not altimeter.

No temp drift either

bought this watch 3 weeks ago and startade swim in the pool once a week at the same time so i dont know if it is affected by the water?

Last swim was 4 days ago so the barometer should be dry.

What do you think? is this a problem that garmin will see as faulty device?

I can't tell you whether the behavior of my old watch corresponds to the behavior of your watch.
In my case, however, it turned out to be a hardware problem. The replacement watch works perfectly.

After 5 min of my wrist it jumped 2m.

But my other problem is when it sits on the table or drawer to. Today for couple of hours in drawer it jumped 70 m in auto mode
