Got a pretty weird situation with my Instinct 2 Solar Tactical (APAC\SEA edition) with 14.13
1. about 2 weeks back the watch started to experience extreme battery drain. It can run from 100% charge to 0% in 20+ hours.
2. Since the watch is already running on latest 14.13 firmware, I did a factory reset deleting all data. However the battery drain issue persists.
3. I connected the watch to Garmin Express, it states the firmware is up to date. However when I disconnected the watch from the laptop, it tells me update is available. I went ahead and install the update.
4. After installing the update, the battery issue is resolved, but then the wrist heart rate sensor stopped working. The green LED doesn't blink at all.
The watch is out of warranty thus no point returning to the dealer. I think could be a corrupted firmware but cant seem to find a way to reinstall the 14.13 firmware.
Any thoughts?
