Garmin Instinct 2 time delay by several seconds

Hi, so on my Garmin Instinct 2, the time often gets delayed up to 10 seconds when compared to the time on my phone. Restarting the watch works but it'll still be one second late. I already set the time to auto in the connect app. Also sync the time with GPS. I also don't have any different time zone time set. I can deal with 1 sec delay but how do I solve the 10 sec delay?

I'm in Asia so my device software version is 14.13.

I wouldn't worry about a 10 second deviation from your phone.

If you really need accurate time, source the time directly from GPS instead of syncing it from your phone, which in turn grabs it from a time server. Then your watch will be more accurate than your phone.

Thank you for the reply. I agree with you that it should be a worry regarding a 10 second deviation.

How do I source the time directly from GPS? Is it via "Sync with GPS" in the Time setting?
