Instinct 2x, left hand: Garmin pay password each time

I use Garmin Pay on my Instinct 2x without problems.

But, since I switched from right to left hand, I get asked for the password each time, even immediately after I entered it. It seemed to work on the right arm and only requires the password after I took off the watch. I switched the watch-hand in the settings.

I tried:

re-adding the cards into garmin pay
reset the password
to tighten the strap

Nothing helped.

Any other ideas?

Have you set it up in the watch/GC settings that you now use it in your left hand?

Yes, that's what I meant with "changed the watch hand in settings". Or if there a setting other than "watch settings/user profile/wrist"?

I am always asked for the PIN, didn't even know there was an option to have the PIN prompt disabled.
