remove external heart rate monitor on Instinct 2

I have an old external heart rate monitor that I am giving away. I would like to remove it from the list of heart rate monitors on my Instinct 2 watch.

I can't see a way to remove a specific monitor.

Also - if I have more than one external HR monitor paired with my watch will the watch continually search for the HR sensors that are not being used?
It seems like this could use up a lot of battery.

Sensors and Accessories and delete from there.
The watch will only search for connected sensors when selecting an activity or doing something in sensors and accessories. Once the activity is started only connected sensors are used.
