Anyone have the Japanese LN2 (or LN3 or LN4) files. Hoping to sideload them.

The language text file japanese.ln4 will not help you to read messages from your wife. The file only contains translation of the menus and screen labels of the watch.

You need a watch with Word Wide type of firmware, which supports the full Unicode table, including Asian languages. The basic Instinct 2 models have small memory, and only support either the Asian languages (APAC versions), or the Western languages and character sets (RoW version). AFAIK, only Instinct 2X and Instinct 2 Crossover come in the WW version supporting both parts of the Unicode table.
