Instinct crossover compass issues

Hi,

I have problems with using compass on my Instinct crossover.

I was able to calibrate it when I got the device about 6 month ago. It was very hard to do and took a lot of tries, but I got the correct reading eventually.

Now I can't get it to work at all:

1. The readings are wrong and I can't calibrate it - no matter what I try, even if calibration says 'ok', I still don't get the correct heading (verified with analog magnetic compass and known landmarks)

2. After several calibration attempts, the software crashes and reboots.

Software version is 15.08, automatic updates are enabled and at the time of writing this post, there doesn't seem to be any new updates.

Please let me know if there's any way to get the compass to work.

Remove the wrist band and the springbars (or at least the bottom one), and try calibrating again. If it works, then demagnetize the springbar, or get a new one.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Unfortunately, it didn't help. Looks like calibration doesn't work at all. As soon as I flip the wrist during calibration, it stops and I never get correct compass heading afterwards.
