Forgetting to stop/pause hiking app when driving.

Many times after hiking, I forget to stop/save my hike and drive off from the trailhead.

Is there any way to program the hiking app to stop/pause when moving speed exceeds something like 7 mph?

Is there some way to edit the tracks saved on the watch to get rid of the driving portion of the recorded track?

It seems like this should not be a problem for a watch of this functionality.

You can edit the activity by distance or time from Garmin Connect.
Go to the activity, press edit (the pencil) , then at the bottom left there is a choice "Reduce distance or time" or sth like that because…

I have just checked that you can also do it from Garmin Conect app.
