ZULU function

Good morning,
I need help with the zulu function on the Garmin Instinct 2 solar. I see this inscription on my screen, but I don't know why and what it is for?

ZULU = GMT = UTC

It's a time zone. Zulu is the military alphabetical jargon for the Z time zone.
