New to the watches, just received the Garmin Instinct 2X Solar, and am having a little difficulty finding answers on Google. Anyways, my question is, is the GPS only turned on while an activity is active/running? I am just trying to find out if I need to somehow turn it off while using it only as a “smart watch” while in the office or whatever.
