Many models have naps checker.
Even forunner255 has that function, now. (it is order than Instinct2 series)
will it also be available with Instinct 2 series?

When my Fitbit Sense 2 broke down - I dropped it - my mistake - I was looking for a watch exactly as the Garmin Instinct 2X ... perfect ... APART from the sleep tracking... Fitbit has that nap tracking for years already ... so I was happy to read that nap tracking / sleep coaching would also come to Instinct 2 series ... WHEN GARMIN ???
At least it would be helpful to give an indicative timing per model and also be clear which models cannot get it, maybe due to hardware dependency

Where has Garmin said that?
This is where I 1st read that www.advnture.com/.../garmin-is-about-to-shake-up-sleep-tracking-heres-what-it-means-for-you

1) your linked article is about "Sleep Coach". Nap tracking is a different function.
2) nowhere does it say that "Sleep Coach" comes on the Instinct (2) series.
3) this article is not from Garmin and is pure speculation.
I tink 255 is not order than i2
I2 is older than 255, which is older than I2X
No one here knows. But what you can do is look at the beta builds for the I2 series. If you see any mention of it, most likely it will be in the official release. Also, Nap detection isn't accurate so it's not the 'gee whiz' feature I was hoping for with my Epix 2. It seems to work about half the time. I'd be sitting on the couch and it records a nap.
