I can confirm that 13.21 is indeed the latest software version for the Instinct 2 Solar and that the "Team Sports" new Activity Profiles are not available on my Instinct 2 Solar Tactical watch either.

The Team Sports new Activity Profiles are available, however, on my Instinct 2x Solar Tactical which is running the same software version 13.21.

Looks like the Team Sports profiles never made it to the Instinct 2 Solar watches.

That is also my conclusion.

It is just strange when it is shown as a new feature in the marketing memo. Was one of the reasons why I decided to buy this watch and not a Venu model.

Users cannot help you to add the missing profiles. Respectively, there is a possible way to do it by copying the sport profiles from another watch model having these profiles. If you are lucky, it works on your Instinct 2 too (copying sport profiles from other models sometimes works, sometimes not).

Otherwise, the only hope is that Garmin - Chris forwards your query to the engineering. In your place I would contact the Support again and insist on escalating the issue.

The previous beta update for the Instinct 2 series that added the Team Sports profiles to the 2X originally listed it for all the Instinct 2 models in the release notes, but later corrected that to say that they were only added to the 2X. It may be the same mistake also led to them being included in marketing material for the 2/2S.

I've tried to copy some of the new profiles from a 2X to a 2S but with no success - possibly linked to the fact that the 2X has a different folder structure for activities than the 2. But whether I try to replicate that folder structure and copy the activity directly into that, or add the activity to NewFiles or any other 'input' folder, it just disappears on the necessary reboot.

If you dare zipping and posting a sample file here, I could try digging into it little bit deeper, and see whether there is a way to make it working on the standard GI2.
