Maybe. Maybe not. The best way to tell is to look at the in-process betas for the watch. If it's in the beta cycle, it's usually going to be on the official release. https://forums.garmin.com/beta…
My Instinct 2 is tracking naps in relation to body battery metric even without enabling sleep mode..
Newer Forerunners (e.g. 255) have it implemented in official builds, so not a beta feature any longer

It is planned for the Epix/Fenix 7 family. But in looking at the beta tester posts for those models, it's a bit flakey now.

Thanks for the replies , obviously it won't be for version 4.11 but hopefully for next update!
can you tell me how you set it without sleep mode? Thanks for the info
I just take a nap without enabling anything. If I sleep the body battery rises, if I just lie in bed relaxing it stays mostly flat. I think the watch detects automatically when you sleep, setting the sleep mode I believe is only for automation purposes.
Is there anything new about nap?
Given the version 15.x beta cycle got underway with no mentions of the nap feature, I am getting increasingly skeptical about whether it will come to the Instinct family.
apparently it will not have this useful function at all
