Garmin give us ultrafit straps in 22 and 20mm. According to info on garmin webside they are compatible with instinct 2. And my question is, did they manage compass issue, that was caused by straps that rolls lugs, or they don't care and are happy with new product?
The ultrafit nylon straps are also available in 26mm so can be used on the 2X now, too.
Never had the compass "problem" so can't say, but I have never noticed it on my Instinct 2 Solar tactical, Instinct…
No compass issue for me either. I have 3 instinct 2's... One of which is a 2x. The compass on all of them are seem pretty accurate..
