I bought Garmin Instinct 2 watch because I didn't want to use the phone for locations and stuff. If i wanted, i didn't need a watch at all, everything can be done only with the phone.
I only need the phone to synchronize and update the watch time to time. But every time I start Explore and Connect, i can't stop them, like taking control over the phone and wanting to get all your data. Like one of those parasitic applications at the beginning of Android that you can't get rid of and transferring everything on your phone
Of course, they need to access Bluetooth but other rights are not reality need. And one should be able to stop them so they do not consume battery in background. Data can be taken less often too, this looks very greedy.
