Accepting PacePro plan reboots watch (repeatable)

It's to do with the 50 point course limit.

If the course exceeds this you cannot use PP because it cannot structure the PP strategy post point 50 (you can still follow a course which exceeds the limit but you will not receive tbt notifications post point 50.

Hmm, thanks. But the PacePro strategy is created correctly and the watch crashes even if I turn off course notifications. Clearly not the best experience.

It will do because even though tbt is turned off the watch needs to process the PP strategy on a course which is beyond the 50 points.

Just try it with a short course and you will see.

So, basically, no PacePro for marathons :-))

I think it depends on the marathon possibly.

Trails are tricky and often have far more points than the equivalent road course.

I just loaded up a trail course for 10 miles with PP and it worked fine but tried again with a 32k ultra and it crashed.

So if PP is important to you for long distance runs this is probably not the best watch.

This is still happening unfortunately even with the course limit removed.

Tbt is fine (tested on an ultra) but no Pacepro

Hey Laurie- I have the same issue on my Instinct 2X. I select Run, PacePro and when it loads it crashes the watch every time whether I select navigation or not :-( I have tired formatting the watch, etc, always happens. 

Same problem for me. I have a 100k pace pro plan saved and synced. Once I try and use it the watch will reboot after the “enable course navigation” prompt. I can’t select either option on the screen, it just reboots. On software version 14.12 Instinct 2 Solar Tactical. Thanks!
