Any use a Stryd with their Instinct 2

I know there’s a Garmin app in the App Store but obviously this doesnt work with the I2, curious if a Stryd pod actually works with an I2? Can’t find much online

Stryd mentions the Instinct 2 on their docs:

These watches will only support the Stryd Zones Data Fields.

But I'm not sure this means it will allow for zone updates or workouts

The Stryd Zones data Field supports Instinct 2. So there should not be a problem.

You need to add to add it to one of your displays. There is also an activity setting for running power, where you can set the source of running power. Automatic should be default.

I recall it being a separate IQ field, not Garmin-approved power, which it would pull from something like the HRM-Pro

I was pointing out that the "external power" setting will not use Stryd under any circumstance. Garmin does not recognize Stryd as a power sensor. It uses a GarminIQ field, which is completely separate from what Garmin labels as "Power".

That "external power" setting is for the Garmin HRM Pro or other Garmin Accessories.
