Following the steps outlined by Garmin Here: Beta Version 13.10 - Side Load I2/2S Only - Announcements - Instinct 2s/2/2X/Crossover - Garmin Forums
When I followed the instructions the first time, I was prompted immediately for an update, when the update completed it said GPS has been updated. I checked my system settings and saw I was still on release 12.25.
I thought this was strange and tried the install process again, however, I was not prompted to update. I have spent the last several hours trying various things - including multiple factory resets of my watch, but cannot get the beta to work. Interestingly enough, the watch seems to keep the latest GPS version even after factory resets.
Here's what I've been doing:
1. Going to the Instinct2S_13.10 0 -> System)13.10 and moving the file GUPDATE.GCD file into the root Garmin directory
2. Moving the 'GUP3890.GCD' file from SensorHub_25.60 to the 'REMOTESW' directory
3. Moving the 'GUPDATE.GCD' file from GPS_6.70 to the 'REMOTESW' directory
4. Moving the 'secure_config.gcd' file FROM THE 'iNSTINCT2s_13.10 folder to the 'REMOTESW directory.
I would appreciate any and all guidance, as I really would like to demo this beta + not let my Watch resets and hours be in vain
