Question about Now temperature icon in watchface bubble.

So I set the analog watchface and in the round bubble upright I set it to show the Now temperature. I would like to know from where does this icon take the temperature reading from, internet or internal temp sensor corrected or both?

I ask because after enabling stealth mode (disconnected) on my Instinct 2 Tactical for more than 7 hours now the Now temp Slowly got from 28 degrees down to 26 which means that either the internal temp is shown corrected for body temp error or it is just an estimate?

    The temperature on your watch face ONLY comes from using the Connect Mobile APP and being actively synced and connected to your Connect Mobile APP and as long as your smartphone is connected through either cellular data or Wi-Fi to the internet.

    Side note: your ambient temperature sensor is only within your widgets and you will need to remove your watch for a full 20-30 minutes to then view the temperature in the widget.

    As for your stealth mode being activated, double check your Connect Mobile APP. I would expect your watch to NO longer be showing connected when you check the default My Day page of your Connect Mobile APP. Stealth mode means you are 100% cut off from your watch emitting anything that can be read in critical situations often that will come from military related missions.

    I double checked stealth mode on and garmin connect is showing the device disconnected, but for more than 7 hours the icon is still showing temperature...and it has slowly dropped from 28 down to 27 and now 26 degrees.. Can you please explain how this works?

    - Are you using a Connect IQ watch face vs. one of our default watch faces?

    I use the Garmin default analog hands watchface. I haven't installed any third party watch face or apps yet after resetting the watch. If remember well with Connect IQ watchfaces whenever I enabled stealth mode they wouldn't show temp anymore but dashes.

    It is the weather temperature. I do not know for sure, but I'd tell that in the stealth mode the changing value comes from the forecast data table loaded the last time you were still connected to the web. The only other explanation would be that the Stealth mode does not work, but I guess you would notice it already.
