I have seen weird things with the battery on the 2x so far. I would try to shut it down and power it back on, or a soft reset and Im thinking the battery will then change to what it really is. I have seen mine get stuck at 100% before, even my Fenix did that sometimes when charged to 100.
My Garmin 2x is like that right now it seems. It was at 13% or 6d battery and I charged it 2 days ago to full and 2 days later still shows 100% or 42d. I rebooted it couple of times, I plugged the charger in and right away it shows fully charged. One thing I haven’t done is reset the watch completely. I don’t want to have to reset everything from scratch. Maybe I’ll just wear it till it dies and then charge it and see what happens. Maybe use the flashlight more or just track my gps all day to speed up the battery drain.
I am experiencing the same problem. it was showing infinite icon and it was not draining the battery at all. it took couple of time to be rebooted and after 3 days it got to 99%. lately gamin have a lot of problems with their software.
after looking around and base on some of other comments. seems like Garmin needs to calibrate the battery. I notice this when stop using my watch for couple of days and I fully charge it. it may not be a bug it maybe need a calibration improvement in the software.
