This issue still exists.
Charge watch via PC and HRV chart disappears for 1 or 2 days.
It still displays an overnight average so it appears that the HRV value is still sound but who knows.

Thanks, after reading this, I've realized that both times this occurred, I've used my computer to charge the watch.
I am sorry your issue continues. It is a known issue at this point. Our Garmin Connect engineering team are looking into the issue to resolve it as soon as possible.
You can still try the steps provided above. (Seen immediately below the opening thread post.) It might temporarily resolve your issue.

+1 Issue here, Instinct 2 Tactical Solar, everything is up to date, tried the soft reset / reconnect method, didn't help.
tnx. Fwiw, each time after connecting my watch to my PC w/ GE, I need to soft rest the watch in order for the hrv to provide a Last Night graph on the watch and to sync the data w/ GC. Give it a try! (remember, hrv is updated only after the night).
i also connected my watch to computer (garmin express and charged from 20 to 85 %) and lost HRV on my phone app. In the morning report on the watch HRV is present but not in garmin connect. After shut down and power on everything is working.
So I have that Same Problem for 3 days now and nothing mentioned here is working. Is there any Solution or fix now?
Just checked my GC and as a previous poster mentioned, this occurs after charging from a computer.
It then resolved itself 2 days later although I cannot recall if I have switched watch off and on.
