Just collected my 2x Solar today and I've noticed the vibrator compared to my Instinct 2 seems to have a slight rattley sound at the end of the vibration, does anyone have this or have noticed the difference in vibration sound?

Hi I replaced for another one that sounds the same I guess it's just noisier vibrator than the old instinct 2... I'll see how it goes
I am sorry you have the issue. It is not a known production issue. The bad luck that you have had happen can happen to any of the millions of outdoor and fitness segment watches currently in use worldwide…
Could you record it, and post the audio or video here? See the Insert button under the message box for that purpose.

Do you know if this is a series wide issue? Has Garmin identified if it is a production issue? Thank you.
I am sorry you have the issue. It is not a known production issue. The bad luck that you have had happen can happen to any of the millions of outdoor and fitness segment watches currently in use worldwide. When you take into consideration all of those watches, the vibrating mechanism developing an issue is extremely rare.
Your watch will need to be returned back to the vendor where you bought it and exchanged for another new one. My sincere apologies for the issue.
The company I've bought it from (www.trisport.ro - official Garmin representative in Romania as they say) are refusing to exchange or accept the watch for returns.
Translated from Romanian:
Howdy,
We can compare all the watches in the store if you want, they will all sound the same.
I personally have been using Garmin watches for over 15 years and have had hundreds of different models, the sound of the vibrations was exactly the one you can hear. It's the same for the €100 models as for the €3,000 models
No problem, this is Garmin specific sound.
What exists in the discussion in the forum below is a completely different sound, it is an interrupted sound.
If it had been a problem, the sound would have been completely different than that of a new, unused watch.
As I told you in the store, the watch will be replaced with a new one, if it has any kind of warranty problem.
At the moment, the watch has no problem.
The sound I am having a issue with happens at the end of the vibration process. It goes from bzz-bzz to bzt. Before yesterday it was a clear bzz bzz bzz. Never had the soft rattling. I am afraid it will get worse. I have extended warranty and the shop would eventually replace it. But why should I keep an unsatisfactory unit?
Garmin seems a premium brand so this should not happen to a new watch.
