Our engineering team has released Beta software for Instinct 2X owners. For those that would like to join our Beta Software program and test the Beta software, the update information is found here: Instinct 2X Beta v12.23. So Garmin is going from a 3.1x firmware to a 12.x firmware revision?? Am I understanding that correctly?

Yes, it is now using the same firmware version as the other models of the Instinct 2 model line

With version 2.03 and 3.11 it was possible to use the watch while charging. Since 12.23 only the loading screen appears and the buttons have no function. I couldn't find anything about this in the changelog and to be honest, I don't like it either.
