Instinct 2X: GPX not loaded, too much points

I tried to upload a gpx file with 31km of route, the file size is about 1Mb. There are no waypoints, no turn by turn, just the route.
This "outdoor" watch tells me that it is too big and does not appear in the list of routes. I tried to load it on a Fenix 7 and in 4 seconds I had it available. So I'm returning the "outdoor" watch.

Very slow and old processor, a 1h training run takes 20-30 seconds to save. When I run a marathon it's going to take longer to save than it will take me to run it...

Shameful.

Did you try saving it in GC as a course, then sending it to the watch from there?

Hmm, 1MB for a 31Km course is very strange. I have loaded a 42k marathon course without any problems.

How was the course created? How did you sync it to the watch? Attached is a marathon trail run created in New Zealand. Unzipped it's 8.3Mb and saves to the watch quickly via Garmin Express or GCM. Once on the watch it takes about 15s to load and be ready to start when selecting the course in the activity.

I don't have 2x but have 2 solar. I've tested yours track on my watches. Loaded through GCM. So watch loaded track about 2.5 minutes(2 min 30 sec) and than i've been able to see elevation plot and map. All worked fine and without crashes.
