Tips and Suggestions will only appear when a watch is new or if a watch has been fully reset back to the defaults.
I bought my I2S last year and the tips only began showing up after the last update- never reset the watch. This is why it looks like something new for me and it's super annoying when I'm trying to get on with my day and it's interfering with stuff just to give me tips on my battery which has appeared more than once. I typically get a battery tips message when I'm tracking and fall into timeframe to empty where I would get a battery warning and it would ask to go into battery saver. So the tracking is ended or set to resume later, then the message comes up and the battery saver option comes up. It seems to be pretty poorly implemented and I have to babysit the watch and I don't want to risk losing tracking data, either.
Agreed! If there is no option to turn them off from showing is there a way to access them all at once/one by one, page through and clear them in one sitting?
There is not. There are very few tips in total that will pop up. Once you have scrolled through the tip and cleared it within the pop up vs. using your bottom right Set/Back button, you will not receive the same tip again. I am sorry there is no on/off for receiving tips when a watch is new.
We welcome your feedback. Please use our Submit an Ideas page. Thank you for taking the time. We appreciate it.
But it's not happening from new- I never had it when I bought the watch and it only appeared after a recent update. I bought my watch last year. So why am I getting it now?
When you updated, your watch reset those tips which is not normal. I am sorry for the bad luck. There are not that many and you can quickly scroll down and okay them to not see them again.
It's cool, I just don't want to lose my tracking because that's when I see the battery tips now more than once when I was ending an activity when in a low battery warning range and it butts in.
So this is today. I took only five photos, but that doesn't express that I I have to press and scroll sometimes to be able to dismiss these various screens that leads me into another one.
This seriously looks like a joke, as if the programmers are trolling the users and some rogue person thought it would be funny to troll the owners into not really being able to dismiss all of this while also raising fears that an activity might be lost if not doing everything carefully.
Down to 3d battery level and you are grousing about various low battery warnings?
Why not just charge your watch? Voila! No more low battery warnings.
