Bug report: crash when pairing Extended Display

My Instinct 2 standard crashes whenever I tried to pair Extended Display to an Edge bike computer. The watch become very unstable and I had to factory reset the watch for it to work normally again. Anybody having this issue?

Instinct 2 Software: ASIA 10.10

BLE/ANT+: 1.04

Edge 530 Software: 9.73

    The Varia Vision along with both the Edge 530 and Edge 830 cycling devices are all not compatible with using the Extended Display feature on a new generation watch.

    I am sorry, the Extended Display mode cannot be used between the Instinct 2 series and your Edge 530 cycling device.

    I'm also having this issue. Instinct 2  Asia 10.10 BLE/ANT+ 1.04, but mine is trying to pair with an Edge 1040. After mine crashes, the heartbeat sensor no longer works without a system reset. I've tried this 2x now.

    I am sorry you have the issue. If you are specifically referring to using the Extended Display feature of your Instinct 2 series watch with the Varia Vision, it is not supported due to the Varia Vision being discontinued.

    If your crash/restart issue is strictly when you use the Extended Display option between your watch and your Edge 1040, please reach out to Outdoor Product Support in your region.
