It appears that since the firmware update to 11.18, the watch reports less total calories than before, both in Connect app and Toybox.ActivityMonitor.Info.
Because of this, the BMR formula previously used in my app is no longer accurate and the resulting active calories are much lower than those shown in Garmin Connect.
It has been reported by the users of my watch face on Instinct 2 and Instinct Crossover.
The same problem was also seen on an app from another developer.
I have not heard of this happening on any other device on which my app runs.
So the question is - is this a bug or a deliberate correction on Instincts?
And if it is deliberate, will it happen on all other devices?
