Is it possible to load maps on the Garmin Instinct 2 Solar Tactical watch? I imagine that a problem would be the low memory of the device or that it would not be practical due to the small screen. If they can be loaded, how is it done and what types of maps would they be? Thank you
Cannot load maps on an Instinct watch. You can however create courses that you can send to the watch. These are shown as a breadcrumb trail with indications when on or off course when navigating.
But there are limitations with courses? Max 50 waypoints? So not possible for ultra distances like 100 miles? (Crashes)
You can use several shorter courses during the ultra run.
