Instinct Solar Surf Tide Not Working For New Zealand - No Data at Current Location

I’m having similar issues but finding moving east in latitude loses data. 

Out of curiosity , perhaps try these coordinates. One works and one doesn’t , be interested to see if it’s a common error

S36 35.4  E174 40.7 Error - no data available

Hi , mine says no tide data. The coordinates you supplied Mark work but I cant seem to be able to save it to my watch face? any ideas?/

Hit the GPS button when the tide is acquired and scroll down to Set Favourite, it will become the one displayed on the front 

That works but is west coast.

Do you know what works for East coast? 

Hi, are you saying you have coordinates that provide tide data for the West Coast but then no tides for the East Coast?  

If so , that is the error I have reported to Garmin and may indicate a bug in the algorithm. I’ve reported there seems to be a longitude moving east that stops returning tide data  

Which country are you referring to? 

I have the same problem. I put in coordinates for Dunedin but it only returns a result for the west coast. I’ve tried coordinates from Invercargill to Christchurch and only get Jackson Bay west coast. 

Definitely something funky going on, seems they've forgotten about old NZ .  Can you call the support desk , maybe if enough us complain about it, we'll get their attention.

Yes Im having the same issue. It tried Seattle as a test and worked perfectly. 

Latitude: 47°36.3726′ N
Longitude: 122°19.9242′ W

Just seems to be NZ. Do we know the data source? 

The tide data is sourced from World Weather Online.  They have accurate data for NZ so I think it’s a problem with the Garmin algorithm fetching data east of 171 degrees E. 

I updated the Garmin support desk with the information on this forum, they replied “I have forwarded all of your information to our US Technical Team and they are currently investigating this issue.”  

I’ll update here when I hear back. 

Nothing works for East Coast yet until Garmin resolve the issue.
