This is not a question, but an experience report, feel free to add your experience.
I have an Instinct2 Solar and I just came back from my first multi day outing with the watch. Because there are a gazillion questions and posts regarding the battery here a report about how the battery performed on my outing.
- Wed. evening before going to bed I've recharged the watch to 100%
- Thursday morning started a navigation activity and went on a motorbike ride
- Time 3:30:19
- Elapsed Time 4:45:19
- paused the activity during longer breaks
- GPS only
- screen always in the map view
- Friday & Saturday went on a hike every day navigating along prepared routes
- Fri Time 4:44:28
-
Fri Elapsed Time 5:14:06
- Sat Time 5:39:00
- Sat Elapsed Time 6:15:55
- paused the activity during longer breaks
- GPS + Galileo
- I tried to switch the screen back to the watchface when the route was clear
- Sunday at noon started the journey back on the motorbike using the same route for navigation backward
-
Time 3:48:45
-
Elapsed Time 4:28:52
- paused the activity during longer breaks
- GPS only
- screen always in the map view
-

- I've done also two swimming activities, but only for a couple of minutes to try it, so probably not worthwhile mentioning
- There was a lot of sun, here the details
- Pulse Ox off
- Heart Rate measurement on 24h
- Bluetooth connection with the phone on 24h
- 2x health snapshot
Draw your conclusions yourself, but I think that are good values and I'm pretty happy to have the watch.
