I’m new here with Garmin smart watches, I come from Apple Watch 7, and I would like to give a try to this smart watch which looks really good 
My question is, checking the firmware version, I have v5.21, and I set automatic updates, but the App Garmin Connect IOS versions says “no updates available”, I was looking for the workout “Padel” and I found that there is a version 9.x with that workout.
I connect the watch to the USB to see charging the battery 100% will trigger some update but nothing happens, can i force some how the update ?
