Instinct Solar 2S Music control

Hi Garmin community,

I have been owning an Instinc Solar 2s for some time now.

Everything work perfectly but I can't find a way to control the music on my phone. The default mode of the music control panel opens on the watch with no link with the music app on my phone.

I use Spotify on Android 13 and the last version of the software on Garmin.

The only explication I found is that I desactivated the notifications from my phone to the watch, but I don't understand why it would impact music control.

The music control will use the last used media player on the smartphone. Some basic troubleshooting tips are in the document Using the Music Control Widget Feature on a Garmin Device | Garmin Customer Support

If it is the same issue I have, then the glance for media player under a workout won't work. I can only see what I am playing.
However, you can set a shortcut to open the music control, which will work, even during the workout.

Not sure if bug or intentional.
