Viewing HR on phone

Hiya all

I’m a cyclist and want to view my heart rate on my phone screen as I struggle to keep an eye on the road and keep looking at the watch.

I know it can be viewed with the connect app but the screen is too dark and the text too small to see clearly.

Any ideas folks?

Thanks

  • The simplest solution is using the magnifying function of your phone (Zoom in Accessibility on iPhone, and available on Androids too), where you can select the HR pane in Garmin Connect Mobile, or even just the value and magnifying it so, that it is fills the screen.

If not, there are apps in the ConnectIQ store that are coupled with a phone app, and displaying the data on the phone. Another option is setting the watch to broadcast the HR over Bluetooth and installing a phone app designed for Bluetooth HRMs.

  • The magnifier works a treat Grinning

I didn’t even know it existed in android. Thanks a million Thumbsup
