Missing in-app settings

Hello!

I have an Instinct2 and have problems with the fact that I no longer have the ability to make any settings of the watch in Garmin connect.

For approx. a week ago I got up options regarding the solar variant (which I do not have) and then all the settings options disappeared.

I am part of the beta program but do not have any beta / alpha installed now.

How can I solve this?

Happened to me twice in the last days too. Soft-reset of the watch fixed it - press the Light button for some 20s until the watch shuts down, and then restart it. Ignore the emergency warning after some 10-15s, and keep the button depressed till it really shuts down.

It finally looks like a server issue. Now, Garmin Connect shows an error message. The fix by reset was probably a coincidence, or it was a combined issue. If the reset does not help, you'll need to wait till they fix the server problem.

I experienced the issue the last time 2 days ago. As I wrote, the soft-reset of the watch fixed it, but I also forced to stop and restarted the app, before that. Since then, I could get to the settings without problems, with the exception of a brief period yesterday, when the app displayed the server outage. Now it works all right, without any further resets, and without errors. In your place I'd try to force-stop & restart the app, and then soft-reset the watch again to see whether it helps. You could also try reinstalling the app, but in my case it was not needed.
