I want a date field in my strength activity data screen. Is there a way to do this?
Do you need the date directly on the activity screen, or would be checking the date on the main watch face satisfactory enough?
Although at the Strength activity, the Back button is used for the Lap functionality, so you cannot use it for looking at the main watch face, you can assign a Hot Key for the same functionality. Long-press Menu » System » Hot Keys » select a free hotkey combination » Watch Face (at the very bottom, scroll once UP to get there quicker).
But if you really want the date directly on the activity screen, then you can use a Connect IQ data field app. There is for example the Date app available in the CIQ store. Instinct 2 is not listed among the supported devices, but if you ask the developer, he can easily add it too. Shouldn't he react, let me know. It would be a very simple app that can be written quickly.
