Instinct 2 barometer

I think there's something wrong with my barometer.

It's been raining non stop for a couple of days. My other abc watch, a casio, shows a steady pressure drop, when i check online, the pressure is recorded as 1009mb, but my instinct is recording it as 1016mb and shows it as virtually a straight line over the past 24 hours.

It's not the first time I've thought the barometer has been unresponsive, but it seems to be confirmed now. Any advice or ideas?

Have you tried calibrating it? I calibrate outside using GPS and the data seems much better than in previous Instinct generation. Although I still encounter sudden pressure drops/jumps on the chart (1-8 hPa in <1 hour - dunno maybe it's how pressure changes).

Yeah, I have, thanks.

Thing is even if it needed calibrating, surely it would register the pressure dropping, even if it was giving the wrong readings for it right? Instead it shows the pressure as being virtually unchanged.

Yep, seems like a bug of defective unit
