Changing settings on watchfaces doesn't work

After downloading watchfaces from Connect IQ, I notice that changing the settings doesn't work. For example, I can change a field from heart rate to steps or a graph from calories to steps, etc. but the watchface stays the same as when I first downloaded it. I've synced the watch and that doesn't do anything. I've also seen it where after I delete a watchface, it won't get removed from the watch. It shows as Uninstalled in Connect IQ but is still on the watch as the active watchface. Is this a flaw with the watch software or Connect IQ?
